I always thought it was KaDohBuh, but apparently this is the pronunciation:

Qdoba Mexican Grill (pronounced kew-DOH-bə)

I totally see vealchop's stance on Facebook, but when you limit the people you follow to the people you'd interact with, it's not that much of a time waster. The people who show-off are doing so because they're insecure. Anyone who says "I'm better than you" have recently felt grossly inadequate. Take the standards you have for real life friends and amplify them for your facebook friends. Social networking is only as fucked as the people you expose yourself to.

You just foursquared seven delis? Delete.
You just quoted sad song lyrics to garner sympathy? Delete.
Are you a couple who lives together in the same house and you comment on each other's facebook all the time? Delete x 2.

Then you're left with people who post things you're interested in - until you have to cull the herd again.

When it comes to Facebook, I simply just hide status updates of those that annoy me. Hell, I even have my own family on ignore up there, all they do up there is spam my feed with "REPOST THIS IF YOU AGREE" or a bunch of annoying religious shit.

Hiding the updates is nowhere near as satisfying as clicking that Remove Friend button.

loved the show. the 3 way battle royale/ armchair psychologist clusterfuck is starting to heat up and yes, you're all nuts.

facebook: only even feel like looking at it once in a blue moon. has its uses but I almost never go on it anymore, the novelty has worn off.
Just because we have chiseled abs and stunning features, it doesn't mean that we too can't not die in a freak gasoline fight accident.
